Wearing a gown like this is a whole experience — graceful, structured, and just a little bit unsettling at first. But there’s something magical about stepping back in time and feeling history in every fold of fabric. 🍂

This 18th-century inspired gown was made from rich rust-orange linen — entirely hand-stitched using traditional techniques. The bodice is fitted with period-accurate seams and laced front, while the skirt is fully gathered for that timeless volume. The linen’s natural texture gives it a warm, rustic elegance, perfect for autumn light and woodland tones. 🍂

Hi everyone! My friend Mireia graciously modeled the 18th-century dress, petticoat, and bustle pad that I created using two single duvets from IKEA. We captured these images in the early hours of the morning, in my charming village in the Catalan Pyrenees, to savor the freshness of dawn before the scorching heat set in. 🌞🌞🌞

I’m totally hooked on this painting. The girl looks so real, like she’s right in front of me. She’s got this look - kind of reserved but super smart and watchful. They say this is one of the best paintings from the old Northern Renaissance time - and I can see why. She’s got that whole old-school style, with her long face and fancy hair and clothes. She just looks so elegant and mysterious. I keep finding new things to admire in this painting every time I look at it. It’s pretty amazing!
