Established in 2010, Scaphandre was launched with a solid ambition: to produce a meticulously crafted luxury swim short collection made from the finest high performance quality fabric, c

ut impeccably with an equally feel-good and flattering fit. Beyond this however, the designer wanted to offer a little more to the swimwear market. Scaphandre swimshorts were also to feature distinctive individual designs by the way of embroidered motifs and high end detailing, thus furthering the elevated offering and the durable aesthetic of the brand’s designs. It’s all of these qualities that today are synonymous with the Scaphandre brand, including the accessories and the expanded apparel range which goes beyond swimshorts and includes leisurewear, tracksuits and linen shirts. Scaphandre was initially designed in Paris, where the brand’s Mallorquin founder spent over 10 years working with renowned luxury fashion houses, later moving base back to his beloved Mallorca where in 2018, Scaphandre opened it’s first boutique in Puerto Andratx. Taking cues from the founder’s deep sea diver ancestors, Scaphandre’s spirit encompasses a lifestyle that surrounds everything travel, discovery and adventure, making a collection worthy of any seaside lover, daredevil… or gentleman. DESIGN MEETS FUNCTIONALITY

Notable details such as the silver allow drawstring aglets in the shape of historic deep sea diver helmets and the back pocket patch on our swim shorts, designed as a water dispersing apparatus (after underwater descent) offers function while giving the range a unique identity. Our swim shorts are made from quick drying microfibre fabric that is salt water, chlorine and sunlight tested. INFORMED & WELL-CRAFTED

WE DID A THING!

Scaphandre family and friends, we have some major gossip…

In a very short space of time a new opportunity came our way and we sold our shop! Not the business, just our shop. Yes, that’s right, our sweet little boutique in Puerto Andratx has closed.

What a fortunate few years it has been getting to know our wonderful clients in person, showcasing and evolving our collection via our first physical space and being a part of the Puerto Andratx community. Thanks to everyone who supported our store and who shopped with us or visited, it was a real pleasure 😽

The Scaphandre brand is definitely continuing and we can’t wait to get designing our next space. More news on that in the future 😄 In the meantime we will be continuing to add our new collections to our website and working with our partnering vendors. You can also visit us in and Exclusive Palma (Carrer Sant Feliu) boutiques.
