Been cutting orders today, including this jumpsuit in the gingham in photo three for the lovely

It's day 11 of the .biz.helper I missed yesterday because, to be completely honest, at my moment my orders are just packaged in brown parcel paper (although I am working on some packaging ideas).

Where do you advertise your products?

Right here. I'm working on some other stuff but like everything life keeps getting in the way so it's slow.

This is the shirt dress I made for the gorgeous , it's almost exactly the same as mine, with a couple of upgrades on the design to make it perfect!

What makes your business unique?

I think that all small businesses are unique, which is one of the best reasons to buy from them!

What makes my clothes unique is you, because everything is personalised no two items are exactly the same (unless of course you see something you love and want it that way!)

All items are and made to order so you can choose exactly what you want.

2. Size inclusive
All clothing is made to your measurements and let's face it, not being size inclusive sucks.

3. Knowing that you are receiving a high quality, sustainable product.
Slow, sustainable fashion is important and good things take time, I source all my fabric locally and the majority comes from end of stock rolls which would otherwise go to waste. I also try to produce as little waste as possible, I'm currently working on a range that uses the scraps from my clothing (watch this space).

Day 3 of the .biz.helper October Challenge.

What inspires you?by.sophia was born out of a want for affordable, sustainable clothes which fit properly, something I could never find.

Here I am exploring the in my sewn.by.sophia jumpsuit (mostly posted because I'm wearing it today and am mega comfy).

A welcome break from my day job as an English teacher (something which has been super stressful in the recent climate) it's been an escape for me.

I'm inspired by my love of clothes, my love of creating beautiful things and the joy it brings me to see those clothes on other people.

This dress is so comfy and it has pockets! Fitted at the top with a full skirt this dress is great for day to day. Could be made in cotton printed fabric for a more casual look or in a dressier fabric for an occasion.

I love this shirt dress (so much so I bought fabric this week to make another one). Fitted at the top and flowing at the bottom, this shirt dress is really versatile. It can be worn as a dress pulled in at the waist with the belt, worn partially or fully open over jeans or as a light jacket.
