Exciting News !

We had an incredible closing program with the Sequa team and 25 exceptional SMEs at Lake Bishoftu Lake Resort.

Gathered by the lake, surrounded by the warmth of a campfire, we shared inspiring stories of challenges faced by entrepreneurs across town and their incredible journey of overcoming obstacles with sheer perseverance. Truly admirable!

A heartfelt thank you to the entire Sequa team – from the insightful workshop visits to the memorable certification day, your support has been nothing short of amazing. 🙏

Han's With Care is immensely grateful for the invaluable machinery and technical support received - a truly life-changing experience for both myself and the company.

We were given special recognition to the project implemented by Sequa gGmbH on behalf of GIZ-Private Sector Development in Ethiopia (PSD-E) under the output program. 🌸✨Celebrating National Menstrual Hygiene Day at a Newly Inaugurated Blind Boarding School! 🌸✨

Han's With Care is happy to have participated in the National Menstrual Hygiene Day event at the newly inaugurated Blind Boarding School. This incredible event was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Health, government stakeholders, advocates, private sectors, and policy makers. Together with Care, we presented and showcased our products with the aim of promoting menstrual hygiene and breaking the stigma associated with it.

The event was a resounding success, with the inspiring motto "Together for a ". It was heartwarming to see the community come together to support this important cause and work towards creating a more period-friendly environment in Ethiopia.

One of the highlights of the event was a captivating short drama performed by the youth, shedding light on the stigma surrounding menstruation and highlighting the impact it has on girls' lives. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of open conversations and education around menstrual health.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this event and contribute to the movement for menstrual hygiene awareness. Let's continue to work together to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all individuals, regardless of gender. Together, we can make a difference and ensure a brighter future for the next generation!

Yesterday, we have had a gratifying day.

Dashen Bank Sponsored 2000 reusable pads to the girls in the IDP’s (Internally Displaced People) in Mekele and Axum. Also additional 165 kits that were collected form good hearted friends and family for 165 girls.

We did the handover ceremony, where the Mayor of Axum city, representatives from the Axum city Women’s Unions and members of Dashen Bank team, and the invited lovely girls from IDP.

I would like to Thank everyone who made this happen.
I would like to Thank Ato Mulugeta Alebachew Chief Strategy and innovation from Dashen Bank, for believing in Han’s cause and helping us impact lives.

እያንዳንዱ ልጃገረድ ሴት ደህንነቱ የተጠበቀ እና ንጽህ የወር አበባ መጠበቅያ ምርቶችን ማግኘት አለባት።
በመቀሌ እና በአክሱም ከ300,000 በላይ ልጃገረዶች የንፅህና መጠበቂያ ፓድ አያገኙም።

ይህንን ለመቀየር እየሰራን ነው፣በእርስዎ እገዛ በመቀሌ እና በአክሱም ላሉ ልጃገረዶች እንደገና ጥቅም ላይ የሚውሉ የንፅህና መጠበቂያ ፓድዎችን በነጻ ማቅረብ እንችላለን። በድጋሚ ጥቅም ላይ የሚውለው ፓድ እስከ አንድ አመት ተኩል ድረስ የሚቆይ ሲሆን በዳሽን ባንክ እርዳታ ለ1000 ሴት ልጆች ደሴ፣ወሎ እና ኮምቦልቻ አስረክበናል:: አሁን ደግሞ 2000 ፓድ ለአክሱም እና ለመቀሌ ለማስረከብ ዝግጅታች ጨርሰናል።

ድጋሚ ጥቅም ላይ ሊውል የሚችል የንፅህና መጠበቂያ ፓድ ለተቸገሩ ልጃገረዶች በማቅረብ ብዙ ልጃገረዶችን ለማግኘት የእርሶን እርዳታ እንፈልጋለን።

እባካችሁ በመቀሌ እና በአክሱም ባሉ ልጃገረዶች ህይወት ላይ ለውጥ እንድናመጣ እርዳን ይህም በእርዳታዎ ነፃ እንደገና ጥቅም ላይ ሊውል የሚችል የንፅህና መጠበቂያ ፓድ ለማቅረብ ያስችላል።

Every girl deserves to have access to safe and hygienic menstrual products.
In Mekele and Axum more than 300,000 girls don't have access to sanitary pads.

We are working to change that, with your help, we can provide free reusable sanitary pads to girls in Mekele and Axum. Our reusable pad can last up to a year and half, with Dashen Bank we have delivered to Dessie, Wollo and Kombolcha for 1000 girls and now 2000 pads for Axum and Mekele.

We need your help to reach more girls by providing a reusable sanitary pad to girls in need.
