Introducing Mayamiko from the UK. Each Mayamiko piece has its own story. With hand picked, uniquely designed fabric, their garments are cut and sewn in their factory in Malawi. They also carry hand woven household products from Sabahar, and other Fair Trade companies.

Fair Silk is a social enterprise which purchases high quality silk products directly from small scale producers. Established by development professionals, Fair Silk demonstrates their commitment by investing a portion of sales back to their producers, as well as supporting an educational organization for children in Kenya. They are currently carrying our lovely Queen Menon shawl and our king Fasil Shawl made with handspun, Ethiopian Eri Silk.

There is just something special about handmade products. There is an energy in them. More than 12 different artisans work on each and every Sabahar piece... and a bit of each of those artisans' spirit is in the textiles. We hear it time and time again: there is something different about a Sabahar product. People treasure them, find comfort and joy in using them. That is the beauty of hand made.
