በቅርቡ በማህበራዊ ሚድያ በተሰራጨው የሃሰት፣ የተሳሳቱ እና ትክክል ያልሆኑ ጽሑፎች ላይ በመመርኮዝ የሚከተሉትን ሓሳቦች/መግለጫ መስጠት እንፈልጋለን።
ቬሎሲቲ ኩባንያ ዋና መቀመጫውን በዱባይ(ኤመሬትስ) ያደረገ እና በህንዳዊ ባለሃብት የተያዘ ማህበራዊ እና ኢኮኖሚያዊ የኣልባሳት ተቋም ሲሆን በኣሜሪካ፣ዱባይ፣ግብጽ፣ጣልያን፣ቻይና፣ግብጽ እና ኢትዮጵያ የሚገኙ ትልልቅ ቅርንጫፎች ኣሉት።
ቬሎሲቲ ካምፓኒ ወደ ኢትዮጵያ ሲመጣ የ30 ኣመት የጨርቃ ጨርቅ እና የኣልባሳት ልምድ ይዞ የመጣ ሲሆን በኢትዮጵያ ፌደራል መንግስት ፍቃድ የተሰጠው ነው። ቬሎሲቲ ኩባንያ ካለምንም የመንግስት እና የፖለቲካ ጣልቃ ገብነት በመቐለ ላይ መዋዕለ ንዋይ ለማፍሰስ መርጧል። ስለሆነም ሁሉም የውጭ ቀጥታ ኢንዱስትሪዎች (FDI) በውጭ(Export) ንግድ ላይ የተሰማሩ ተመሳሳይ ኢንቨስትመንቶች የሚያገኙትን መብቶች እና ጥቅማጥቅም እኩል ያገኛል።
የኩባንያው ከፍተኛ ስራ ኣስፈጻሚዎች ኢንቨስትመንቱን ከመጀመራችው በፊት፡ በኢትዮጵያ ኢንቨስትመንት ላይ በጥልቀት ያጠኑ ሲሆኑ በኣካባቢ ያለው የግብርና ዕድገት፡ ያለፉት የችግር ግዚያቶች እና ማህበረሰቡ ለስራ ያለው ተነሳሽነት ምክንያት በማድረግ መቐለን እንዲመርጡ ኣድርጓቸዋል።

Based on recent false, inaccurate & misleading posts circulated on social media, we would like to make the following statement:
• Velocity Group of Companies, head quartered in Dubai (Emirates), is an Indian owned social –economical garment facility with branches located in Dubai, USA, Italy, China, India, Egypt & Ethiopia.
• Velocity came to Ethiopia, bringing 30 years of garment experience with us & is licensed by the Federal Government of Ethiopia. Velocity choose to invest in Mekelle without any government or political involvement & we enjoy the same investment privileges as all other FDI factories engaged in export, irrespective of the region of investment.
• The executive management of Velocity has studied investment in Ethiopia in-depth prior the start-up and chose Mekelle due to lack of agriculture opportunity, hardship faced during the famine and eagerness of its people.
• As a company, Velocity does not involve in a political atmosphere. We see Ethiopia as our home and Velocity has always been committed through various ways, apart from making huge capital investments that carry long term obligations, towards making Ethiopia a much bigger player in the garment manufacturing global market and also increasing the country’s foreign exchange earnings, to a much deeper responsibility towards training & developing the youth of Ethiopia into becoming well skilled and self-sufficient.
• The factory leverages the latest in technology, sustainability and has the highest social contribution of any factory build in Ethiopia, this by itself shows the level of commitment & trust we have in Ethiopia and its people, who we value the most.
