I am Riikka Manni – a colourful, character driven designer and tailor who finds clothing to be a method of self-representation both for the creators and the wearers. Conveying emotions and stories supported by high-quality clothing is my great passion. It is important to me that the garment fits the wearer’s personality, is safe and functions flawlessly for its purpose. I got a great start for my

career in professional theater, from which I took off after founding my own company in 2012. As an entrepreneur, I have toured circus and varieté shows around Europe, dressing wonderful international artists. These days I design theater costumes and retrofuturistic fashion. Productions to mention

Heinäkuussa Viikinsaaressa nähdään päräyttävä pukushow, Tatu ja Patu työn touhussa, kun mahtavat Lassi Jämsä ja Roope Myllyselkä tarjoilevat 25 hahmoa 50 minuuttiin esitellen erilaisia ammatteja.

Kiitos Lassi ja Roope, teidän kans on ihana tehdä töitä, kun rokkaatte höpsöimmätkin ideat, rock rock 💛💓

Jes, me tehtiin tää! Nyt pyörii Viikinsaaressa sydämet sulattava Ilosia aikoja - Mielensäpahoittaja, joka paatuneimmankin mielensäpahoittajan kannattaa mennä kokemaan. Tää oli mun ensimmäinen aikuisten draamapuvustus - oli ihanaa ja haluan tehdä tätä(kin) lisää! Kiitos jälleen kerran luottamuksesta.
Mulle on pukusuunnittelijana tärkeää luoda hahmot vuorovaikutuksessa näyttelijöiden kanssa; kiitos yhteistyöstä huikeille näyttelijöille Ola Tuominen, , ja 7:n roolin ihme Maippi - teidän kans työskentely oli antoisaa ja unohtumatonta.

It's all about pattern drafting what comes to creating costumes with small amount of fabric. The less fabric, more challenging it is to keep in place.
I'm always so happy to see artists working with their epic act and bringing it to the next level wearing my costumes 🔥
