Mes tapisseries de la série Alice et Anita sont exposées et disponibles à la vente jusqu’au 30 juillet au musée du canal de Berry, à Audes dans l’Allier. Je remercie vivement Albane pour cette opportunité. Les sculptures sont de Christian Gonin.

The last week was wonderful! Four weavers were crapped into my studio/living room, with each a different loom. For Mina and Pauline (.fuenzalida and ), both Fine Arts students and first time weavers, it was the last week of their internship. For Solene and Marina( ), new professional tapestry weavers, their goal was to experiment rug weaving. We had fun together, weaving, reading, talking and having lunch in the garden. I even managed to advance my own tapestry and to over-dye dome skeins with walnut, with the help of .miou , who came a couple of times to share the moment while spinning.
The pictures are in no particular order, as the app is malfunctioning these days, sorry!

Last weekend was an incredible one! My tapestry Alice et Anita was selected for the 18th edition of the Triennial of Textiles , in , Lodz, Poland. We were 66 great artists (see my highlight story) and the exhibition, Deconstruction Reconstruction was beautifully curated by .kowalewska.165 and .
My tapestry was under the section : Re-visiting the past to understand the present. I wove these two young black girls in 1937, my aunt and grand-mother, looking at the future, at me.
I want to thank all the people who worked hard for a beautiful exhibition and a great organization.
