12 hours on 3 trains, from Saint Jean d'Angely to Edinburgh with Debbie Abrahams 2026 mystery blanket to keep me busy. Tomorrow, I am travelling with a group of knitters to Shetland for Stitchtopia Craft Holidays, what a great week.

"The best meal I have had for a very long time".

The travelling knitters from Stitchtopia Craft Holidays including vegan, vegetarians and people with different kind of allergies said, that dining in Mauds home Maud Wang Hansen , eating her organic locally produced food was the best meal, they had on the entire trip to Faroe Islands.

It was cosy, Maud could answer all questions about the food as well as about the preparation and it felt like home away from home.

Our last day in the Faroe Islands with was a full day workshop with The group of 12 knitters have been making traditional Faroese slippers and a mini shawl. Katrina provided the lovely yarn from in natural colours of cream, greys and brown. It has been a wonderful week, we have learnt so much about the culture and history of Faroe and enjoyed the company of a wonderful group of knitters.
