Are you wondering what a "Falsa" means?

The Falsa is an authentic Mexican blanket traditionally woven by hand on a loom. Known for its soft texture and relaxed weave, it became especially popular along the Baja California coast during the ’60s and ’70s, quickly turning into a must-have for surfers and campers travelling between Mexico and California. Despite its name “Falsa,” meaning “false” in Spanish, there is nothing fake about it. Originally inspired by other traditional styles, the Falsa developed its own iconic look and became a true symbol of beach and surf culture.

Let's make a change. For them.

As we watch our beautiful region burn, it's hard to keep talking about products as if nothing is happening. It's heartbreaking, and it's a reminder that we can't keep consuming and producing the same way. Something needs to change, for the sake of the planet and for the sake of our children.

We may be just a small brand, but that doesn't mean we can't make better choices. We believe in producing less, producing with care, creating pieces that are made to last, and supporting traditional craftsmanship instead of fast fashion.

We're not perfect, but we're committed to doing better every day. We're constantly looking for new ways to reduce our impact, and we're excited to share our next initiative soon on reducing/reusing packaging waste.

The future might not be built by one big change but by millions of small ones.

Let's make better choices—for them.
