The whole Lyophilise & Co team wishes you a Happy New Year 2025 🎉✨

2024 has been an incredible year, and we're delighted to conclude a year marked by exceptional adventures and exciting new developments, but also by challenges that weren't always pleasant.

The biggest challenge was the cyber-attack on the evening of August 15, which paralysed our entire business, wiping out our commercial, logistical, economic and financial systems for several weeks. It took more than three months to rebuild a new one, set up a new organisation and develop new processes, because everything had to be redone.

However, we are delighted to be starting the new year, ready for a good fight, and with new tools that will enable us to aim even higher. Our goal is to serve you better, to respond even more effectively to your needs, while preserving the well-being of our teams. Because we have a great team, and it's thanks to them that we're still here. Many of you have also followed our adventures and shared yours with us. You have no idea how delighted we are to have you by our side, and it gives us even more motivation for this new year, which promises to be full of projects.

So thank you, thank you to the team, thank you to our valued customers. Don't hesitate to let us know if you have any specific needs or suggestions, or even just to say hello. 🌃 SaintéLyon 2024: A legendary race 🏃‍♂️🏃💨

The 70th edition of the SaintéLyon, held between November 30 and December 1st 2024, once again brought together thousands of trail enthusiasts for an unforgettable night-time adventure between Saint-Étienne and Lyon. This legendary race for individuals or relay teams of 2, 3 or 4 people, 82km long in its classic format and 164km long in its ultra version, was marked by exceptional performances and a unique atmosphere.

Congratulations to Thomas Cardin from Grenoble who dominated the men's classic event, taking his third victory with an impressive time of 5:52:21‘, and to Marie Goncalves from Lyon who sparkled in the women's race, crossing the finish line in 7:03:27’, confirming her steady progress in this event.

Let's not forget Théo Le Boudec and his incredible comeback that saw him finish the Lyon-SaintéLyon (164km) in 07:42:18‘, just a few seconds ahead of the runner-up, as well as Marie Laure LENGLET for her second victory in 10:34:49’ with a perfectly controlled strategy. A huge bravo!

Vendée Globe 2024: Samantha Davies shares her menus with us!

Sailing around the world, alone, non-stop and without assistance, requires meticulous preparation, and this includes meal planning. Samantha Davies, one of the emblematic figures of the Vendée Globe 2024, demonstrates this by revealing her menus on board her IMOCA. Her approach to food shows that even in extreme conditions, performance and culinary pleasure can coexist.

In a race as demanding as the Vendée Globe, the skippers burn up to 5,000 calories a day. To stay focused and perform well, Samantha relies on balanced, high-energy meals that are easy to prepare. And away they go! The start of the 10th edition of the Vendée Globe took place on Sunday 10 November 2024! Nicknamed the Everest of the seas, 40 skippers will be tackling the world's most feared seas. A single-handed, non-stop, unassisted circumnavigation of the globe, in a battle against both the elements and themselves. Endurance, resilience and strategy are at the heart of their preparations.

That's why diet plays such a crucial role in keeping the skippers energised, focused and resilient. 🎉 Great victory at the Transat Quebec St Malo for a trio we often see in our store: , , and Gildas Mahé on Amarris. They didn’t give up despite one of their rudders breaking just a few days before arrival!

The crews of Legallais and Vogue with a Crohn complete the podium, closely followed by the all-female crew of La Boulangère Bio!

👏 Congrats to all the competitors who didn’t give up during this long Transatlantic race with very varied conditions.

Expedition to Greenland 🏔️: and Heidi Sevestre are getting closer to their goal thanks to favorable weather conditions.
They are progressing rapidly in their kite-ski expedition. Recently, they covered up to 217 km in a single day! They were able to conduct scientific analyses on the density and composition of the snow cover.

On the food side, every day, they consume energy-rich meals, including muesli, dried fruits, jerky, cheese, and our freeze-dried meals. 🌶️
