It has taken me several days to process. My heart is broken into a million pieces. A man who hated no one, spoke against violence, was a tender and loving father to two very young children, a devoted husband, a speaker of the gospel and Christ and a champion of the Constitution. He invited dialogue, he invited those who disagreed to have conversations. As he put it, when people of differing options talk through things there is a common thread. When we stop taking, or just keep shouting violence and wars ensue.
He was God first, Family second, America third. . .he believed in open debate, in going to church, in getting married young and having children. He was a fighter for the freedom for everyone's voice to be heard, whether he agreed with you or not. He was the voice of reason, a voice for truth, a voice for science, a voice for God. We who truly listened to him, felt a connection, because he spoke what many of us think and feel.
We are all Charlie, in one way or another. . .we all want our voices to be heard and not snuffed out because deranged mentally unstable individuals have differing options...
Losing Charlie Kirk, in such a cowardly heinous act has shook the entire world. This perhaps is our turning point.
God bless Charlie's soul, God bless his mourning family, God bless all of us who feel like we have lost a member of our own family, God bless America and the whole world.
You my dear Charlie will be deeply missed in more ways than one can even say!
