There are always unconditional lovers of top hats... I’m not sure if it’s for their elegance or to celebrate the memory of Louis Comte, THE French magician who, in 1814, became the first magician to pull a white rabbit out of a top hat!!!! Another idea anyone?

Soup tureens are no longer very fashionable today, when they were one of the essential elements of the tableware when soup was served at every meal.
I often use them to serve all kinds of mixed salads, in summer with vegetables from the garden, in winter with legumes and tons of spices... A real delight!
This one is smaller than traditional soup tureens, I really like its shape and its geometric blue pattern typical of the 1930s. Link in bio.

Old metal boxes are often worn out and their colours faded. Dents, scratches and decors erased in places give them this particular charm that only time can deliver….It’s what I liked about this one that shows obvious signs of wear… The quaint decor of a stagecoach halt in the courtyard of a country inn, travelers ready to depart, amidst barnyard animals in a charming disorder is amazing and really unusual!
