The Sweetest 1970s Emmanuelle Khanh Cotton Gauze Set

Where to begin with this set? It is one of the daintiest, most ethereal pieces I've seen from Emmanuelle Khanh. It looks like a simple top and skirt, and it is, but it is positively sublime in its sweet simplicity.

The diaphanous cotton gauze shifts color depending on the light but can be described as a pale blush pink with a hint of lilac. Think of a dreamy pink lavender, or light pink hydrangea flowers. This is why there are so many photos!

The pintuck blouse has a darling Peter Pan collar and fastens up the back with seven lovely mother of pearl buttons. The skirt features gorgeous openwork embroidery and small pockets, is lined with a soft cotton inner skirt, and closes in the back with a combination of snaps, mother of pearl buttons, and a thin sash to tie around the waist.

It is in overall great condition given its age and delicate nature. The only real flaw is on the collar. See photo 14. It's less dramatic looking in person than in the photo. I've deducted from my original asking price to account for it.

Super Chic Chantal Thomass Dress

If only I could model this for you! Because the way it looks on a body vs a half mannequin is 🔥🔥🔥 Fill this baby up with curves and it is so seductive. (I know because I filled it out but then couldn't button it...)

This sexy 80s era Chantal Thomass dress is deep black but I've lightened the photos for the sake of detail. The main material is 100% wool but extremely soft - you wouldn't guess it to be wool. It has a gorgeous lace trim on the bottom half of the skirt and on the cuffs. It closes up the front with elegant rounded buttons. It has pockets and is fully lined.

It's in excellent condition with one caveat : the previous owner was certainly a smoker. My dry cleaner got a lot of the odor out but I am *extremely* sensitive and I can still pick up on it here and there. Although I'm like a mining canary; most people aren't nearly as hypersensitive to smells as I am, so you might not get it at all. I've asked two friends and neither of them do. But I'd much rather mention it just in case! Even so, I do believe I could still wear it without being affected. (And this comes from someone who gets headaches from the wrong shampoo.) Anyway, the price reflects this potential snag.

It's marked size 38/6. It fits like a larger Small / smaller Medium, depending on your morphology. Please check the measurements below against your own and don't hesitate if you have any questions!

1970s Souleiado Skirt / Dress

How pretty and unusual this '70s Charles Deméry/Souleiado piece is. I don't know if it was intended to be versatile but it certainly works!

It's in good vintage condition, which is to say that there are no flaws to speak of but it is a 50-year-old pre-owned garment.

The appearance of the colors change slightly depending on the warmth of the light so be sure to look at all the photos!

Depending on your morphology and how you wear it, it could fit from S to M. Please check the measurements and don't hesitate if you have any questions.

Top line (waist or overbust) sits at about 24 in / 61 cm, stretches up to 34 in / 86 cm

Mid-shirring (hips or bust line) sits at 34 / 86 cm, stretches up to 40 in / 100 cm

1970s Chacok Summer Dress

I bought this dress not for the shop but for ME but it just doesn't fit me comfortably. I'm so disappointed! I was going to live in it all season 😭

I love the cut and colors of it. It has a fabulous twirly skirt and *pockets*! It's such an ideal summer dress. Effortlessly charming.

It's in great vintage condition with no flaws to speak of.

It's marked as size 0. The main measurement to check is the overbust, which is what got me.

Bust up to 34 in / 86 cm

Length from shoulder 45 in / 115 cm can be adjusted with tie straps

1950s Colorful Kaleidoscope Day Dress

I've really loved this dress and always had compliments on it, but now it is time for a new home.

I adore the vibrantly colored print which looks like spiderwebs, umbrellas, and geometric flowers all at once!

It's a lovely little thing with a fabulously pleated skirt and a matching belt.

Apart from some fading under the arms, it's in good vintage condition.

It appears to be homemade so there are no labels. I'd say it's a straight S size. Measurements are:

Whimsical Hand Embroidered Cotton Dress

This delightful dress is made of airy white cotton and has the most marvelous embroidery of colorful shapes and creatures.

I'm not sure of its age or provenance but my best guess is late 80s to 90s and possibly Mexican.

It has five buttons on the front of the bodice and a sewn-in sash that can be tied round the front or back.

It's in excellent condition with the exception of a tiny hole in the skirt and I'm pretty sure there's a faint stain somewhere but I couldn't find it again to photograph. So it's not flawless but nearly!

It's marked size 42 but please check the measurements below and don't hesitate if you have any questions.

1970s Schiaparelli Striped Linen Skirt

This lovely Schiaparelli skirt is probably Serge Lepage-era late '70s. It's made of beautiful 100% linen (exclusive of lining) that has a soft sheen.

It has pockets and a zipper and button on the back.

It's in excellent condition with nothing to report. What you see in the last two photos are slubs, which are common to linen due to variations in the thickness of fibers.

Its matching blouse is for sale on Vestiaire Collective for nearly 1500€ !

Labeled French size 38 but I'd say it's a size S today. Check the measurements and let me know if you have any questions.

1980s Norma Kamali Matador Print Fishtail Skirt

This cute as a button skirt has matadors and bulls, fans and roses.

It had a fun, twirly fishtail cut, and zips up the back.

It's in excellent condition with nothing to report.

1980s Norma Kamali Leopard Dress

This absolutely fabulous dress made of leopard print stretch jersey has a tightly fitting bodice and an incredibly voluminous skirt.

It's in excellent condition with a few tiny fixable exceptions: there's a small seam that needs restitching on the right side shoulder and a couple of threads coming undone at the right side hip. If you need pictures please let me know. I've brought the price down in light of these issues.

There's no size label but I'd say it's a solid XS. See the measurements below and the last photo.
