New custom vintage work available now 🪡🧵 ALSO tomorrow I am dropping more new work AND will be dropping new screen printed merch, all merch is printed on vintage garments curated by me. All one of one. There will be a separate page on the site dedicated to it. Working to update things and give a better experience, which is challenging cause my hands are tied to creating new clothes but we making it happen Peace and love more new work always coming! Vintage M-1951 military cargo pants turned into a jacket 🪡🧵. I haven’t seen the M-1951 style with the belting in the pockets and inside waistband buttons in a camouflage color, usually they are just green. These pants were close to deadstock so the fabric is nice and heavy. I also used canvas as a liner so that it has good rigidity to hold its shape. Tons of pockets and buttons and details. Hickory striped railroad worker overalls turned into jacket. Utilized all original metal hardware and replaced zipper with time period accurate gripper zipper. Buckle back feature and button tightening cuffs instead of using elastic. Hoping for the illusion that this custom jacket was made in the 1950’s. 🪡🧵

To make these pants I take vintage double knee work pants and deconstruct and reshape them by adding extra panel of fabric making them into a nice bootcut/flare. This process is tedious because it’s nearly impossible to color match different shades of vintage faded fabric but I think it’s worth it. Next the pants are adorned with a curated collection of vintage patches and fabrics. I’ve been collecting for years. Finally they are additionally distressed and laundered to create the illusion that the pants were patched decades ago, around the time they were made. Sizes 32-38” waist on my site now. Turning a chore coat into a 1950’s type 1 inspired jacket. I’m pretty hyped on this concept and think it came out clean. Excited to maybe do a classic khaki color one, I like the abstract look of the non faded areas behind the pockets, and using the hem as a pleated panel worked well I think. I made 2 of them, one has a liner the other doesn’t, one will be available on my site, the other I might keep to wear for a bit. Anyway, thank you all for the support that allows me to create things as a job. I’m grateful for that. 🪡🧵🧶

Hand stitched distressed and repaired vintage reverse weave hoodies, also have been cropped, most know that this specific style hoodie is always too long. Styled with some pants that as still available on my website. First pair is made out of a vintage military tent that has these unique hand sewn wooden dowels replacing the original buttons. Second pair is made out of vintage denim military duffle bag, the denim ones are hard to find. Third pair was a thrashed pair of 50’s coveralls that I repaired and made into pants using time period correct fabric from hickory striped pillow cases from cots and railroad worker pinstripe overalls. Since someone wanted to steal my overall jacket design and use it as the poster board for their business, I figured I’d show how to do it properly. If your going to take my designs at least do it right lol. This is the last time I will speak on it, and the last time I will make this jacket. I have a lot of new work and new ORIGINAL ideas coming soon, peace and love thanks for watching.

My new work is available now on my site. All handmade using vintage materials 🪡🧵🧶 going to be doing detailed videos of each outfit, and all other current inventory in the coming weeks.
