Hawa is an Arabic word for wind and for love. The same letters carry both. Whether it means breeze or longing depends on context, on tone, on who is speaking. The collection lives in that doubling. Air through sheer silk. Desire that arrives and leaves on its own time.

Every clothing piece here was made in Lebanon. The artisan families we work with have been selling silk for generations, carrying techniques the Levant has come close to losing more than once. The clothes are the by-product of a longer conversation about what stays.

Shot along the Seine in late spring in Paris, cobblestones warm from the afternoon, the river dark below. The red look is a striped silk jacket and patchwork silk/ sheer tulle skirt. The white look is our Farah silk top, with basketball silk/tulle shorts. All available online for purchase 🌬️

Our Aghabani embroidery pieces explained!
Traditionally used for tablecloths, upholstery, and menswear, we choose to incorporate this Syrian textile technique in our contemporary RTW designs as a way to not only preserve this ancestral technique but wear it proudly across every day

The fabric is block stamped then our artisans guide the fabric by hand, allowing the machine to make a chainstitch embroidery
