Mohamad Bayrouti, born 6 August 1992, is a Lebanese fashion designer from north of Lebanon. He is the co-founder and fashion designer/creative director of Les deux hommes. At the age of 22, he graduated from the Academy of fashion design following a BA in interior architecture from the American University of technology.In 2016, he earned the first runner up prize at BYFDC "Beirut's young fashion designers competition" during Beirut's fashion week.In 2018, Mohamad began collaborating with Ngo's in his hometown, empowering women while producing his collections. Later in 2019, Mohamad continued working from creating collections to work with clientelle on made to measure unique pieces. In 2020 when Mohamad presented a collection inspired by the Lebanese revolution. The corona virus appeared around the world when Bayrouti presented a caftan collection from the comfort of his home.
In 2021, a tragic personal experience lead Mohamad to present "Romantic melancholy". Bayrouti focused on recycled fabrics while still supporting women. Shortly after, he was brainstorming the birth of his new brand "Les deux hommes" with his friend Vincent Kabbara while in quarantine in January 2021. Later that year, the brand saw the first light, presenting the first S/S RTW collection. The brand was a hit in Lebanon and internationally.A few months later, Mohamad presented his latest mini-couture collection, "Defoulement", inspired by his travels to Europe and a short personal experience.Following L2H's first success, Mohamad was left heartbroken when Vincent left for Paris. Then he was creating the brand's F/W collection "Detachement". The collection was carefully made in tripoli using upcycled, recycled and waste fabric and materials. Some of the presented pieces were inspired from Mohamad's memories with Vincent, where they were shown clearly in patterns and colors manifesting the contrast of both personalities. The shoot was held between Lebanon and Paris, where the brand is settling now in France. Mohamad is starting a new collection while preparing to continue his studies in Paris.
