🇬🇧 We accompany you towards your sustainable journey with these 5 good reflexes to adopt this summer. Remember, no one is perfect. Act on your scale, at your own pace.
01. BEFORE LEAVING : The summer period is often slack for most, and we have more time at the office. This is an opportunity to sort through your computer. Clean up your mailbox and files stored in the cloud, unsubscribe from uninteresting newsletters, etc. This way, you reduce the digital pollution caused by the storage of this data.
02. TURN OFF THE AC : Unless you are systematically going under an uneasiness, consider turning off the air conditioning when you are away for the day.
03. SLOW DOWN WITH THE WATER : We consume a lot more water in the summer. We take several showers, we water the lawn, we fill the pool, etc... To limit drought, especially in Europe where there are sometimes government restrictions, avoid wasting water. And consume more responsibly. You can install a rainwater collector, for example.
04. THROW YOUR TRASH : Picnics are cool, but only if you don't destroy the planet.
And yes, everyone keeps repeating it, but there is still too much waste left on the beaches and in the forests. So remember to take your waste, even if you don't have a bag.
05. PREFER LOCAL PRODUCTS : It is important to eat fresh and in season when you want to be greener. In this way, you make the local economy work, and avoid consuming fruits and vegetables from the other side of the planet. If you want to go further, even favor organic products.
