It took me over 30 days to hand, stitch and embroidered this custom commissioned jacket with patches collected from the past year, covering for the client a sort of Americana related to our mirrored journeys to burning man this year. Notes related to Austin, Texas, q***r culture and life on the road. I’m very proud of this piece. It’s the largest campus I’ve ever worked on hundreds of hours and stitching the pieces into a unique formation that generates this one of a kind coat. Nothing else exist like it and I’m very proud of my capacity as an artist to produce art of this caliber.

“From concept to completion: unveiling the full journey of my self-portrait for the first time. 🎨✨

This mixed-media creation is a journey through sadness and liberation, where every element tells a story:

• Tears of red string, symbolizing blood and deep emotion
• A third eye, representing inner vision and spiritual awakening
• Hidden chains breaking free, a metaphor for personal growth
• Feathers collected on nature walks, bringing a touch of the outside world

The piece combines my love for textiles and patchwork, translating the unique stories of each material onto canvas. It’s my first venture into this style, aiming to create something worthy of a museum display.
