GETTING AROUND by Metro, Bus, Tram, RER

1) From the Airport

You can take RER B until Gare du Nord then switch to the lines. You can buy your Navigo pass in the airport then just reload it later.

2) Download the RATP app

If you can download this app, I've seen people use their phone to buy tickets etc but I haven't tried this. The app has an English version, see photo.

3) Bus or Metro Tickets

While it's just one Navigo pass to take transport some tickets are meant just for bus or tram and the others are just for metro. If you're staying here for a week. The weekly or day options are more practical.

WHERE to STAY?

1) Walking Distance to some tourist spots

While it is more expensive to stay near tourist spots just a few blocks away you can find better prices.
It's ok if you take metro but if you're taking RER 😂 you're way far from the city.

2) Hotels or Airbnb

Personally, I would stick to hotels especially those that you can pay upon arrival like in booking.com .
Also, in summer, pls choose something with air conditioning (climatisation or clim) as it's super hot. Also, don't go here during summer. Not the best time.

3) Lugging your luggage around

There are some places now that offer services to keep your bags for a fee. Some hotels also does this.
