Nicolas Messina, designer of exclusive tights and stockings is unveiling his website:
www.bar-a-collants.com, entirely devoted to hosiery. Fascinated with the femininity of the women he grew up around, Nicolas developed an
interest for fashion from a very early age and ended up working for the communications
department of Maison Jean-Paul Gaultier. Out of passion, he started making sketches of
tights and stockings designed for ultra-feminine and glamorous women. Later on, working as Collection manager for a leading legwear manufacturer, he started
getting to appreciate and understand the skilled craftsmen’s techniques who would later
work with them to design his own collections. Faced with a wide range of possibilities, Nicolas wished to blow some fresh air into the
legwear market and more specifically tights and stockings which he regarded as essential
pieces of clothing. From then on, he started exclusive collaborations creating customized
legwear for famous designers. Each pair is entirely designed and manufactured in France using traditional methods. Lines
feature both classic and fancy stockings so all expectations are met. Whether glamorous,
bold or mysterious, all women will find their match
