Cotton Stripe

This striped cotton poplin, woven by Borghi 1819 in Italy, is crafted from fine Pima cotton sourced in the United States and fully processed within the group’s Italian mills.

Inspired by the colour palette of Nicolas de Staël’s paintings, the yarn-dyed construction gives the fabric its depth and clarity of stripe, enhanced by a subtle satin sheen that catches the light with restraint. Crisp yet fluid, it combines structure and comfort, offering a clean surface and a refined hand feel.

SCÉNOGRAPHE is crafted in the house’s signature Italian double-twisted poplin, offering a piece that is both easy to wear and quietly original. It features a high collar fastened with the Bourrienne gold flower button, a motif found in the historic interiors of the Hôtel de Bourrienne, including the rooms of Fortunée Hamelin and her bathroom.
