Body&Soul in Velfarre 20年前初参戦したBody&Soul in 六本木ヴェルファーレ　＃Body&Soul ＃Housemusic ＃

20年前　人生初のClubbingはJoeに懇願されて初参加したVelfarer Tokyoでした。当時世界一の総面積をもつ東京のクラブ。初めて扉を開けた際の衝撃は今も覚えています。ここからHouseMusicを勉強するためにローソンチケットで”House"と書いて有っったので震える手で買ったTei Towaはまさかのレゲエ。www Clubで立ち尽くした事を思い出しました。笑

そんなこんなのBody&Soul in Tokyo!! 祝開催。またいつか行きたいな〜^^

Twenty years ago. When I was dating Joe Claussell, I was a salaried dentist earning 200,000 yen a month, completely captivated by his talent.

20年前。Joe Claussellと付き合っていた時、彼の才能に惚れ込んでしまった私は月収20万の雇われ歯医者でした。

彼との話の中で音楽機材の話が出た。当たり前だけど安く無い。勿論彼が買ってといった訳じゃ無い。でも才能に惚れ込むと彼の音楽に貢献するために出来る事ならやってしまうのだ。

During our conversation, the topic of music equipment came up. As you might expect, it’s not cheap. Of course, he didn’t ask me to buy it for him. But when you’re captivated by someone’s talent, you end up doing whatever you can to support their music.

でも当時の月収２ヶ月分。それでも気づいたらポチってた私。笑　仕方ない、才能に惚れ込んじゃったんだもん。その当時は。そしてこの恋を通してピカソや何やら才能に惚れ込んだ女性達の気持ちが分かる様になりました。

But it cost two months’ salary back then. And yet, before I knew it, I’d clicked “buy.” Haha. What can I say? I’d fallen head over heels for his talent. At least, I had back then. And through this “love affair,” I came to understand how women who fell for the talent of Picasso and others must have felt.

天才　＃圧倒的な才能

I once accompanied the legendary New York Spiritual House DJ Joe Claussell to the mastering session for his classic album *Everyman* (Double Exposer).

I witnessed the mastering session of "Double Exposure - Everyman".
The engineer's moves were like a "chicken's head" keeping the beat, while the clock ticked at $500/hour!
A truly legendary experience from the golden era of house music.

昔むかーし Spiritual Houseのシャーマン？Joe Claussellと付き合ってた頃、NYである曲のマスタリングに付いていった事が有りました。

Gold Discが壁に何枚も飾られていたそのスタジオはもちろん飲み放題、食べ放題。笑
多分Joeが音楽制作を開始した時から依頼しているMasteringの職人さん？は長いお付き合いとのこと。そんなこんなでキャバよりお高い時給でのMasteringが行われる様を隣で見ていたのですが。。。

もちろん素人には何してるのか全く分からず。笑
でも良い人生経験になりました^^

あと黒人さんに多いけど上顎骨1／1の正中離開。笑

彼も見事にこれです。
因みに彼は口腔もちょい音漏れやすいし🎤とかカラオケ苦手です。笑

パリに遊びに来られる方は必ずこの大きな試合を日程に挟んで来られるとジモティーや他の観光客と一瞬にして混じり合えるからオススメです。笑
