I am a textile artist, primarily using wool and silk as my materials to make gorgeous nuno-felted items. My creations vary from charming felted hearts filled with lavender from the garden, felted soaps, and decorations to large flowing shawls, coats, hats and scarves. I think of these as 'Art to

wear." Materials are exotic, and colors are vibrant. I am a big believer in recycling and taking care of our planet. Much of what I make is made from discarded materials and fabrics. I re-use torn clothing made out of silk and cotton and bits and pieces of projects that didn’t make the grade .. I started out many years ago as a costume designer - but when raising my family, practicality won and I became a nurse - trying to do my creative work on the side. Now I am happy to be able to create full time , in between gardening and looking after my animals in the Poitou Charente France. You can find out more at:
