Full disclosure: While we've been waiting on the complete collection and were truly wanting to launch the collection complete, it was not to be :)
Drop 1 will be launching on Sunday in our shoppes.

Stories shape our world.
The stories of our experiences.
The stories we internalize about those happenings.
The stories we believe about our selves.
The stories told by others.
The stories we share.
The stories we keep.
And then there are the things or places that hold stories that can be felt. Just like the body keeps its score, so too with inanimate objects and places I believe. If we care to listen. I've been thinking about what I love so much about antiquated things and spots - perhaps it's the untold stories they tell.
Stories, they shape us in more ways than we know. We are the products of so many collective stories.
When I spread out the collection across my living room floor, the story I envisioned was children frolicking in the countryside, dressed in classic understated elegance, yet having a childish spirit and appreciation for all that the world has to offer. Frolicking in the courtyard while the adults are sipping tea and clucking about at the towns gossip, dipping in the water with the trousers rolled up so they can still make it to dinner looking primp and proper, impressing the adults as was expecting of them. On the outset it looks like an idyllic childhood. And it is, in many ways. It's multi faceted and not one dimensional. As most stories are.
