I might be a bit quieter on here over the next month or so…

Some big changes are happening for our wee family behind the scenes 💙

A mix of excitement, stress, emotion, and slightly chaotic if I’m honest 😅 but all good things and all heading towards a new chapter, but Scot & Soul isn’t going anywhere.

I’ll share more when things calm down a bit, and my brain stops running on coffee and to-do lists ☕😂

Had a fantastic day yesterday, rock climbing, exploring caves and discovering rock pool creatures. 🌊

One of the highlights was finding a sea hare hiding amongst the rocks. I had to double-check what I was looking at 😆

The sun is finally shining in Aberdeen… and my Scottish tan is coming on nicely 😆☀️

By “tan”, I obviously mean freckles first.

I was reading recently that freckles are actually linked to our climate. Scotland’s cloudy, low-sunlight meant lighter skin helped absorb enough Vitamin D, with freckles appearing as a protective byproduct against those rare sunny days.

So technically, my freckles are less “sun damage” and more centuries of Scottish survival skills.

Anyone else go straight from pale… to freckles?
