Camo Collection No.34 - Polish Puma (wz89 Zaba)

The last camo pattern to come put of Soviet era Poland, Polish Puma is one of those "I get it, but no" kind of patterns.

The dark green scales on the lighter green backing, whilst performing ok in amongst dark green leaves and pine, is generally terrible in most environments.

Perhaps if the light green backing was closer to a tan colour, it may have worked better.

The pattern had a short issue life, only being issued from 1989 to 1993 (apparently some was still issued to 1999) and was replaced by the much more effective wz93 Pantera.

Much like Alpenflage, this pattern was pretty undesirable back in the day, but scarcity and nostalgia have since driven up prices.

Many don't know this, but G***k originally started off making hardy infantry gear like knives and entrenching tools.

Camo Collection No.33 - Saint Helena DPM (by WirebirdSupplyCo )

The world is a small place, and no greater example can be had than WirebirdSupplyCo growing up in the next town over.

Going from Inverurie to working on tactical gear out of Vietnam is certainly a wild turn of events, but out of that story comes Saint Helena DPM.
It is a lovely tropical pattern that is still in the prototype printing stages, but I'm very lucky to be in possession of one to show off to you all.

Finally cleared and sorted all that DPM, now back to your regular scheduled programming.

The next couple of weeks will be focused on cranking out the Gen.2 MTC Duty Belts, then followed by the black ones.

I may do a short run of some bouncing bomb bags for Christmas, but we shall see. Material depending.

Autumn is also fully upon us now. So I'll be spending less time sunning myself out in front of the shop and more time actually doing some work.
