Just to follow on from the previous message.
I am Jilly's husband and whilst I understand that my wife and her business have fallen far short of the standard of service she normally gives to her clients this is solely not down to any deliberate malpractise or deception. My wife is an extremely hard working and passionate business woman who gives 100% all of the time. Sadly, over the last few months since our son became critically ill suddenly in March and was left disabled with many health complications she has genuinely struggled to juggle running her business, family demands and looking after a very ill child. She has been placed in an extemely difficult
position that know mum should
to choose at times between work and our son. She has done all she can to implement a support network for the business but at times that has fallen short too. She has been extremely upset over the last few days as our son still fails
to make any progress and it would appear that he now has cardiac issues which is very worrying for our family.
At times our local Royal Mail, have also added to the stresses of the business and in recent months my wife has worked
7 days a week often 16 hour days so as not to disappoint her clients.
The business supports not only my wife but our children and she has invested so much time, passion, devotion and money that she is now terrified that recent months will have caused irreparable damage to the business that she loves.
I fully support my wife in all that she does but we have all been unaware as to to the extent of her recent stresses compounded by looking after a disabled child with huge demands and I can only apologise for not supporting her more and other members of the family too.
The last 4 months have been the most traumatic event of our
married life and I just felt as I know she has a few dissatisfied clients currently I felt compelled to post this on her behalf.
Trying to run a business from a hospital is almost impossible and every plan made for her to spend sometime at the studio
has not materialised due to the demands or our son and meeting with various consultants, medical professionals, monitoring his care and tests has left us tied to the confines of a hospital with little way to contact the outside world especially with new child protection laws not permitting the use of laptops, tablets or
phones and there being no
network coverage.
My wife will be in touch with every client affected by current events as soon as she is able to and once again I offer my apologies on my wife's behalf for the current closure of the business.
Thank you.
