Very nice evening out with my staff to thank them all for there hard work during the School trade. It wasn’t easy this year with the heat which caused parents to leave buying uniform very late. Many thanks to all the children and parents who came to see us, I know we’ve got some holes in our stock which will be filled over the next week or so.
Secondly we were awarded a plaque for the oldest shop in the area, which I’ll put in the window.

As it has been so hot and customers have found it too hot to come in for School Uniform, we will be open this Sunday 30th and Bank Holiday Monday 31st August with a limited staff between 10.30am and 3.30pm. Please pass on to anyone this might be helpful to. John J

Introducing Edgar Jerome’s school wear team 2026 from left to right:
Woody,Amy, Alessia, Kacey, Tina ( The Boss), Ed, Peggy and Thomas with the part timer sitting in the front. I realise it’s been so hot and everyone has been leaving buying school uniform later and later, but now it’s getting cooler please don’t leave it too late. Our cut off point for embroidered badge items was 12th August but we do have good stocks, so come in and let our young team help you. Best wishes to all those starting school.
