My studio is looking festive. Has been a busy build up to Xmas. Lots of clothes needed alterations. Clients loosing weight, new garments fitted, pieces remodelled.

Enjoying semi retirement and finding a good work life balance. I am still sewing altering wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses and general quality clothing.
I haven’t posted anything since Xmas so thought I might just up date.
Today I have 2 collections, one a prom dress and one top that the customer had purchased on Etsy and wanted it to be more fitted. This is the pace of life I like. ❤️

Yes I am still here sewing away fitting and altering wedding dresses, bridesmaids all types of clothing. Getting booked up now with wedding parties for next year.
Some advice for brides out there, book you alterations in with whoever sooner rather than later. Last year I had a number of brides looking for alterations 2 weeks before their wedding and I had to say I am sorry but I can’t help. 😞

Hi Martin

I just wanted to send you a note to say thank you so much for your help with the alterations on my wedding dress.

You put me at ease from the beginning which meant I was not afraid to tell you what I needed and you always delivered and so quickly too.

You were always so flexible with me as I lived so far away and I would certainly recommend your talents to anyone I know.

The dress ended up fitting me perfectly and I felt incredible in it. The day couldn't have gone ahead without the dress so you were a huge part of getting me down the aisle thank you so much.

2 weddings today, Jocelyn I altered her dress, I did her sisters dress about 8 years ago when I had the shop. Have a great day 🥰
H**e got hers ready for the big day. I also did her mums wedding dress then her sisters at Covid time. Always lovely to see past brides when I can help a family member with their dress. H**e even needed a last minute tweak because of a lil weight loss through nerves I guess. Have a brill time, never mind the rain it’s something you cannot control. ❤️
