I had the absolute pleasure of making some Roman blinds and a pelmet for Bridgit and Andy from 💚

These were the final touches to their beautifully renovated cottage-style home. Bridgit’s fabric choices blended perfectly with her interiors, keeping that warm and cozy cottage feel throughout the space.

The trickiest part of this project was finding the right solution for the patio doors. Because of the recess sizes, a Roman blind wouldn’t have been practical, and curtains weren’t the preferred option. So, I suggested a roller blind paired with a matching pelmet to tie everything together.

Bridgit chose a dual roller blind – one layer that allows light into the room during the day while helping prevent sun bleaching on furniture, and a second blackout layer to keep the space cozy in the evenings and provide privacy. I think the final result turned out brilliantly!

My partner and I have a big event coming up in August.. 👰‍♀️ 🤵‍♂️ 💐 💍

So for any customers that also have big events coming up this year, this is a guide for you to be prepared and book in for your alterations!!

CLOSED DATES:

21st - 25th May
5th - 8th April
14th - 17th August
27th - 31st August
3rd - 14th September

I require a minimum of 2 weeks to have alterations completed, so please book your appointments as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!!

💚 After a hectic few weeks of getting alterations and soft furnishing orders completed for Christmas, I’ll be taking a well needed 2 weeks break and will return to work on Monday 5th January.

🏡 Soft Furnishing Orders to be completed by Christmas is now closed. If your looking refresh your home for the new year, you can still make a Soft Furnishing Measure Appointment or request a no obligation quote.

👗 Garment alterations to be completed by Christmas will close on Monday 1st of December. This is a little earlier than usual due to a trip to Germany. ❗️Appointments will be closed between the 9th - 16th of December.

🛍️ Last collection date for any alterations will be Tuesday 23rd of December.

📆 My diary will reopen on Tuesday 6th of January 2026.

In September, I had the absolute pleasure of helping the bride make her vision come to life by adding a touch of olive green to the CUTEST flower girl dresses 💚

We achieved this by using chiffon sashes that matched the bridesmaids dresses and they worked perfectly.

Although their smiles are the most adorable part, I’ve covered their faces for their safety 💚🤍

Reminder - I don’t offer alterations for bridal gowns (I always recommend the professionals for that 👌) but I’m happy to help the bridesmaids, flowers girls, mother of the bride/groom and wedding guests.
