Some close encounters with these lovely beasts on my walk around the lake at Yorkshire Sculpture Park yesterday. Few more miles added to my total. £132 raised for Cancer Research so far. We welcome Holly to teaching at the Brewhouse with this fun course.

Join Artist Holly Magdalene Scott in a relaxed, friendly macramé workshop at Brewhouse Studios in Alston.

Master the basic knots by making a keyring, then learn to make your own gorgeous macramé plant hanger to take home.

No experience is necessary, just come along and enjoy this mindful, relaxing craft. I will be at your side to guide you step by step, and help out if you get in a tangle!

The workshop runs for approximately two hours, all material and tea/snacks are provided. Cost £25.

It’s open studios time at Brewhouse studios. This year there is lots more to see as Jess Jessica Cooper and Abi Baker have studios on site in the Pottery. Pop down and say hello and share a spot of Christmas cheer, make a decoration in my studio and catch up with all the courses we have planned for next year. X
