Our customer’s hoodie had one cuff that had holes inside and outside and the other cuff was perfect. So we used both sides of the good cuff on the outside of both cuffs. Brilliant idea and brilliant results 👍🤩 our customer was thrilled with the alterations on his favourite hoodie.

All types of Suit Alterations are carried out at The ZipYard Altrincham. Shortening sleeves from cuff or shoulders, chipping shoulders, tapering jackets, shortening hems, modifying Lapels and more. We also alter waistcoats and trousers. We can also make bespoke suits and waistcoats with a fabric of your choice. We can also reline suits or just change the buttons for a new look🤩👍

Our client requested alterations that would allow the sides at the back to be covered and a style that was different to the norm. So we used some matching soft net tulle fabric to create a feature. Our client was blown away by the finished design. She absolutely loved it 😍 👏🤩🤩👗🪡🪡

The sleeves on this jacket were shortened without losing the original detail 🤩🤩Our customer was absolutely delighted 👍 Any garment with the correct size sleeves looks so much smarter. For winter coats, trench coats, overcoats, etc. you want the sleeves to be long enough that they just start creeping onto the back of your hand. This will ensure that they cover shirt cuffs and jacket sleeves while also providing enough coverage with gloves. Here at The ZipYard Altrincham, we can alter the sleeves on all types of garments, suits jackets, coats, leathers, dresses and more 🪡🪡🪡

Our lovely customer wanted us to make a car seat for her puppy using the puppy’s bed 🐶. We stitched buckles in all the right places and it looked amazing 🤩🤩 Even the best behaved dogs need some form of restraint and this should be used for every journey, even if you are just going a short distance. Why not pop into the Altrincham and have a custom-made for your special friend. We can embroider the name onto it too. 🧵
