Last weekend opening was a roaring success and such a joy to see so many familiar faces. It feels like it's been FOREVER since our doors were open and people were buzzing with the joy of shopping our boutique.

Can we all just take a moment to honour this absolute QUEEN please?

Absolutely did not anticipate the buzz today and Miss Petra was flying solo. She served 123 customers and processed 287 items entirely on her own. Frankly we are in AWE! Or as Mrs Darlings teenage son said “Petra is a MACHINE, bro. She’s just that guy.” 🤣

We’re not entirely sure on the teen translation but we assume it’s good and we definitely agree! We are very lucky to have her.

We had no idea so many of you would come out to support our reopening today. Especially when we only told you last night - but you were like a VV Army! We are so thankful to each and every one of you for giving up some of your holiday weekend to spend it with us!

Although many bargains were swept up today, there’s still loads to be had. If anyone is planning a trip tomorrow, please be gentle with our Miss P. She’s worked REALLY hard!

Bring snacks. (Especially chocolate).

Well, this was NOT the start to a new year that we wanted. Pretty much a year to the day of the crash that closed the shop down we've now had a flood, so orders may be subject to delay partially due to Miss Petra needing armbands to go into part of the building.

We've now supplied a few of our VV pieces for the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing this year; Mrs D spotted our green Hattie Hostess dress in the professionals' dance on the results show this weekend! Check the show out on iPlayer or YouTube to see it in motion :)
