I have filled my shop with beautiful vintage china and individually handmade textile items to warm the heart and home. A bit of a wet, grey day at the harbour in Amble today …. and I still love it here!!

Fresh, sea air and ever changing tides - the water was calm in the harbour but the waves were crashing over the pier further out. I never get tired of the seaside sounds and smells 🌊🥰

We’re open every day from 10.30am until 3.30pm, it’s hard to manage much more than that in a very small wooden shed next to the North Sea 🥶😄.

If you do find a moment to pop in, you’ll find a tiny little shop absolutely packed with gorgeous gifts and festive decorations.

Packing up your website orders ready for posting out to you tomorrow 😊

I love doing this - clearing my work table for a couple of hours so that I’ve got space to wrap everything carefully. Listening to music and setting out all of the lovely bits and pieces I use to put your parcels together. Wrapping each item safely and filling bags and boxes with beautiful things. Such a mindful way to spend time at the end of a busy day 🥰

Christmas has well and truly arrived in the shop …… and now it’s all uploaded onto our website too! 🎄🎄🎄

I’ve spent the last two days making good use of the beautiful October light to take photos of our festive decorations (not perfect by any means but I hope they’re just about good enough 🙃).

Our Christmas stock is now available on the website for all of you wonderful customers who want to support us but can’t get to our shop 🤗

I had a lot of fun making this poster on an Adobe App. I know it’s not as professional as some I’ve seen but I’m quite pleased with my first attempt 😊

🎄 Last posting date for all of our First Class parcels is officially Wednesday 20th December …..

🎄 But we have limited stock on many of our Christmas lines so don’t leave it too long if you’ve got your eye on something in particular 🤩

🎄 We’ll be doing our Post Office runs every day for as long as you lovely people keep placing your orders. And as we’re temporarily living just around the corner from the Sub Post Office in Amble, it’s easy peasy at the moment!

🎄 Our fastest turn around from receipt of order to posting (with everything carefully wrapped as usual 🎁) is 25 minutes 🏃‍♀️
Even a well known online giant can’t manage that 😉😅

We’re very, very excited about these brand new products ….. 🤗

Designed for busy little hands, these stunning wooden toys are beautifully made, bright, stimulating and educational.

Many of you will know that we became very proud grandparents for the first time last year and our gorgeous little grandson has inspired us to stock this new range of toys 🤗🐢🐳

We have spent a long time sourcing them and we absolutely love that they’re almost all seaside themed too 🦀 🐠 🐬 (Although we couldn’t resist the Highland Cow and the Bee Mini Puzzles 😁)

They are all made from responsibly sourced wood to a very high standard. And they’re reasonably priced as well 😊

Please pop in to the shop to see them all for yourselves - the first puzzle sold almost immediately after we received the delivery!
