A Wednesday evening well spent 🌊
 
Last week, we headed to the Lenches Lakes with Finisterre for our first community swim connected to our Broadway store.
 
From first-timers to regular wild swimmers, it was a great mix of people getting in the water, trying out Finisterre’s Yulex swimwear and making the most of a summer evening by the lake.
 
Then came the important part - food, drinks, post-swim chats and a few well-deserved slices of cake. 🏊‍♀️🍰
 
Thanks to everyone who came along, Amanda for leading the swim, and the Finisterre team for making it happen.
 
Hopefully the first of many Broadway community events.

Join us and Arc’teryx alongside expert, Alex from Force of Nature to explore the countryside around our Broadway store. Discover what’s growing wild on our doorstep, learn how to spot edible ingredients and their not-so-friendly lookalikes, and put the latest Arc’teryx kit through its paces along the way.

• 10:30 - 14:30
• Leaving from our Broadway Store
• Approx. 3 hour walk led by foraging expert Alex McAllister-Lunt
• Test out the latest Arc’teryx kit
• Refreshments provided
• Easy Low Level Route

COMMUNITY SWIM 🌊
 
A new one for our Broadway store - and a pretty good way to spend a Wednesday evening.
 
We headed to The Lenches Lakes for a swim with a mix of experience, from regular wild swimmers to those giving it a go for the first time. With the chance to test out Finisterre’s Yulex swimwear, followed by food, drinks, goodies and a few well-earned post-swim chats by the lake.
 
A big thanks to the team at Finisterre for supporting the evening, and to Amanda for hosting us at Lenches Lakes.
 
Cold water, good people and a great spot. We’ll be back. 🌊
