Have you ever wanted to try to learn to use a sewing machine but don't really know where to start?
This taster event is your chance to have a go at some basic skills using our machines and see if you like it.
Our expert tutor with over 40 years of experience in the field of sewing will lead you through all the basics to get you sewing with confidence.
You will learn basic cleaning, threading and sewing with our machines (most machines have the same basics). You will practise how to guide and turn on the machine using paper templates. You will then graduate to fabric and machine a very simple cord wrap to help keep your cables tidy.
After this short taster event you will be able to decide if you like sewing and want to have a go at a more challenging course.
All tickets are sold through Eventbrite.
