Welcome to Tilly's Sewing Corner! Here you will find Handsewn Decorations, Gifts and Cards all lovingly created for you from Tilly's Sewing Corner.

I have always had a passion for generally being crafty from a young age, but it was at school that my love for sewing started. And since then it has grown day by day. I've been making cards and other bits and bobs for Family and Friends for a few years now, and after a lot of words of wisdom and encouragement I decided now was the time for me to branch out and open an online shop. The name Tilly's

Sewing Corner, comes from my parents calling me Tilly as a nickname, and my desk where I make everything is in the corner of my bedroom. Tilly's Sewing Corner popped in my head one evening, and it never left, and it just felt right to me!

🕊️ 💒 Wedding Birds 💒🕊️
As wedding season is upon us, I thought it would be the best opportunity to share my wedding birds cards.
I loved the idea of having a 'love bird' card, but whilst I was planning it, I thought why not make it a celebration of a wedding card, and this was this finished result 😍
As with my designs, the colours are all customisable if you wish. I recently had an order for this design with the names in a yellow and turquoise instead of the purples, I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the finished card due to light, but it was lovely to see it in the wedding colours!

🌼 Hello Sunshine 🌼
Well, isn't it nice to see the yellow glowy beauty in the sky, and all day for that matter too, what a delight to see 😍😍
I've got a weekend in London planned with my girlies, which I'm really looking forward to, and then back to school on Monday. Last 2 terms, then I've done my first year!!
I got my certificates through this week for my TA course, and it made me realise how hard I actually worked on it, I felt very proud of myself!

🧵My first Make Nine 2024 project is finished! 🧵
I decided to go with a nice and simple project to start with the Closet Core Tshirt, which is a free download from and super simple and easy sew.
I added some embroidery details on the pocket, first time I've ever added embroidery to any of my me made garments. It was a stitch and stitch from , and definitely won't be the last embroidery I add to my future me mades 😍
I've made this tee before, but this time I wanted it to be a longer length so I can wear it comfortably with leggings, so I added 9cm to the length, and it's now finishing where I had envisioned it. I did make a slight mis-hap when cutting the sleeves out, so had to re-cut with what I had left, which resulted in the stripes being horizontal instead of vertical like the rest of the tee, but I'm going with this was an intentional design choice to complement the pocket (which was intentional!!) 😂😂

🐨 Birthday Koala Bear 🐨
A recent order of my koala birthday card 😍 I'm enjoying stitching this little one up each time an order comes through, and very very pleased it's been as popular as it has been since I first introduced you all to little koala bear 🥰
I'm still entirely grateful for the continued support I'm getting, especially through the current cost of living, and as I've taken a step back from here and Tilly's Sewing Corner whilst I found my feet with my new job.
It's certainly been a juggle since September, working full time, doing my TA course (which is all fully submitted now, so that's freed up some time 🙌) and working on orders, it's definitely not something I'm taking for granted. And for as long as I can, I will continue the juggle as the creativeness of this job, really helps me with my school job now.
Sorry for the little ramble, I just wanted to show my appreciation for the support 😍

It was lovely to actually see the sunshine yesterday, made it feel like a proper spring like, let's hope it continues 🌞 I know it won't because it's Easter holidays, and it always seems to rain when the schools break up 🤣

🐝 🌼Bumble bee's and Daisies 🌼🐝
Today is making me feel (dare I say it....) *spring* like ...🫣 And I'm definitely here for it.
I've had a flurry of orders come through over the past few weeks, and I'm feeling very grateful that I can still run my small biz alongside my full time job now.
Stitching 100% calms my mind from a day at school, so all orders are very welcome for my mental health 😜🤣

Now it's been gifted I wanted to share this gorgeous Elephant Doll I made for my niece's 2nd birthday 😍😍
The pattern for both the doll and clothes was from . The pattern and instructions were so easy to follow, and it made for a joyful making experience!

Happiest 2nd Birthday to my adorable gorgeous niece Isabella 🥳💞
How she is turning 2 today, I just have no idea. It's gone SO quick!!
Isabella is obsessed with sheep 🐑 (or as she calls them 'baaaa') at the moment, so I just had to make her a Baaaa birthday card 🥰 and her little face when she opened it was just the best🥰🥰
I will add this card to my Etsy, if there are any other sheep lovers out there, I've fallen in love with this design so couldn't not add it to my Etsy!
