The cost of living crisis is affecting everybody, but disabled people inevitably face extra hurdles making them particularly vulnerable to rising costs.

I am supporting the Scope campaign urging the government to do more to protect disabled people this winter including implementing a social energy tariff for disabled customers, bringing forward additional cost of living payments to this winter, not April 2023, and reversing eligibility changes to the Warm Home Discount that excluded disabled people.
