🌟 Feeling Appreciated 🌟

On Wednesday I answered a cry for help from a lovely young lady who was desperate to have her 'Zara' trousers shortened, and ready for today (Saturday), as she needed them for a special annual visit to London to celebrate a friend's birthday.

When she dropped them off, she brought my partner and I a assortment of cakes from her bakery business, and they were absolutely delicious.

She collected her trousers yesterday, and was delighted her alteration had been done so quickly!!!

It's so humbling when customers show their appreciation in such a kind way.

Here are a few pictures of her fabulous cakes, and her trousers, which I know she's going to look amazing wearing!!!

I've been really busy with everyone's alterations recently, so when my man saw something he knew I'd love, and ordered it for me as a surprise to show how much he appreciates me, it's really made my day . . . This is the perfect gift for my sewing room 🥰

QUICK TURN-AROUND

I'm so proud to be able to share this 'Prom' dress alteration with you all.

A couple of weeks ago it was Old Buckenham High School's 'Prom' night, and I had the privilege of altering Charlotte's 'Gino Cerutti' dress.

Charlotte wasn't sure what style of dress she wanted, but knew instantly when she spotted this fabulous gown, that it was just what she'd been looking for . . . and it had pockets!!!

Unfortunately, it was far too long, so Charlotte came round for a consultation and we decided on a much better length.

The total circumference around the bottom was 8.5 metres which was quite a challenge, but I was able to shorten the dress and the attached lining, and I'm sure you'll agree that Charlotte looked stunning in her gorgeous gown.

🌟 Feeling Appreciated 🌟

I answered a cry for help on Sunday from a lovely young lady who was desperate to have her Bridesmaid dress from 'JJ'S HOUSE' altered by Wednesday (today), as she needs it for a wedding in Scotland at the weekend.

She has just been to collect it, and gave me these beautiful tulips and card as a thank you for getting her alteration done so quickly!!!

It's so humbling when customers show their appreciation in such a kind way.

I shall be sharing pictures of the dress after the event, and I know that she's going to look amazing wearing it!!!

Back in June I received a cry for help asking if I could shorten an evening gown at very short notice.

My clients daughter was visiting over the weekend, and really wanted to take her Mum's vintage gown back to Manchester on her return.
She desperately wanted to wear it to a Ball she was due to attend in Oxford!!!

With less than 48 hours notice, we had a consultation, agreed on a new length, and I altered the dress ready for her special event.

It was a pleasure to work on this beautiful vintage gown, and I know how proud your Mum was, knowing you wanted to wear it.

Here's a very special alteration I was asked to do earlier this year, and the lovely recommendation that her Mummy left for me . . .

🌟 Managed to squeeze my little girls dress in last week in time for book day today! Done a great job, doesn’t even look like it’s been touched. Happy mum that I didn’t have to buy a different outfit & happy daughter who is probably going to want to wear it everyday😆 thank you so much! 🌟
. . it's these moments that are the reason why I love what I do, and I'm sure all of her friends loved her World Book 'Mirabel' from 'Encanto' outfit just as much as she loved wearing it 🥰
