I've been asked to crochet some Robins. So, here is me giving it a go. I didn't like No.1, so then I tried different shaping, I liked No.2 much better but needs fine tuning.

This is one of my crochet fails and frustrations, and part of the process. I hate this cardigan. It's not working, the shape is wrong, the yarn and stitch isn't right for what I wanted. This is a fail for me. I'm going to finish it, I am taking notes for the next one. Just putting this up for anyone who needs to see that failure is what I do often!

I've now ripped all this back. I crocheted this too many times to count and wasn't happy with the finish. As painful as it it to undo a lot of work, I'd rather be happy with the finished piece than finish it quicker and not really like it.

The cardigan is progressing.....VERY SLOWLY.....just due to having time to do it. It's a mix mash of Super Chunky yarn that's Knitted for the body, and the sleeves which are Aran yarn that's Tunisian Crocheted.
