Creating headpieces by hand takes time –approximately 5-12 weeks ( I would suggest booking as soon as you have your outfit), this also depends on what orders are already booked in and the time of year as spring/summer will be hectic. You can book your appointment via my online shop where you can choose your own day/time. At your appointment, we have headpieces that you will be able to try on.

Millinery Isn’t Magic ✨

What you see at the end is the finished piece.

What you don’t see is everything that happens before it gets there.

Millinery isn’t a quick fix. It isn’t a hot glue gun and a few minutes of putting things together.

It’s hours of handcrafting, shaping, stitching, steaming, blocking, trimming and embellishing — with lots of attention to the tiny details that make the finished piece just right.

Every curve, every stitch, every placement of a flower, feather or trim is considered.
And sometimes… things don’t work the first time! So it’s back to the workbench, making adjustments until it’s right.

That’s the beauty of handmade millinery. ❤️

When you commission a bespoke piece, you’re not just buying a hat or headpiece.
You’re buying time, skill, craftsmanship and something made especially for you.
There’s no magic involved.

Just a lot of patience, a lot of handwork… and a milliner who really cares about the finished result.

When your hat is made from your dress… ✨

This beautiful blue headpiece was created for a mother of the groom at a recent wedding, using fabric from the very dress she was wearing.

I love creating pieces like this because it means the headpiece isn't just chosen to go with the outfit — it becomes part of it.
The fabric was transformed into this sculptural, statement headpiece, giving her outfit that perfect finishing touch while making sure she felt elegant, confident and completely herself. 💙

Because sometimes the best headpiece isn't sitting on a shop shelf waiting for you…
it's created especially for you.

A very special Mother of the Bride 💕

How gorgeous does she look on her daughter’s wedding day?

I absolutely loved creating this bespoke headpiece to complement her beautiful soft aqua outfit. The delicate sweeping shape, sculptural details and soft tones brought everything together perfectly — elegant, feminine and just a little bit different. ✨
