With a branch on Ballymoney High St, including on street car parking. Our branch in Coleraine is on New Row with disabled access as you can drive right up to the front door. The Garvagh practice is on Main St and also has parking right outside. All our branches stock stunning frames from all around Europe. Eye Health and General Health.

Join us for an entertaining night with guest speaker Professor Colin Willoughby who will be speaking about eye health and links with our general health. His key areas of interest include cataract surgery, glaucoma and dry eye management.

Plus there will be other health practitioners exhibiting, including:
physiotherapy, Jenny Lynch
audiology, Truetone
dentistry, Kim Laverty Dentistry
strength and conditioning coach, Stevie Pound
health food, Emma from the real health store,
plus a rep from a popular dry eye medication company, Scope Eyecare

We will also have a large selection of sunglasses with 20% off on the evening.

This is a community event open to all adults.

“I struggled for a few years using both distance and reading glasses after being told I was one of those people who couldn’t wear varifocals.

I decided to see what John Laverty Opticians could offer.

Lovely staff, spent a long time discussing the options and choosing frames.

As for the glasses, what can I say I couldn’t believe the difference, everything was so much clearer and now I have just one pair of glasses.”

Jane took a pair of bespoke Varilux XR Pro varifocals, and hasn’t looked back!

We’re excited to announce that we are hosting Professor Colin Willoughby (Ophthalmologist) for an evening of health and well-being.

Location: Ballymoney Townhall
Date: Wednesday 10th June
Time: 7pm

This is a free event and it’s open to anyone with an interest in eye health and the link with general health.

There will be other health professionals exhibiting on the night who will be available to chat with.

If interested please let us know so we can reserve you a space as we do have restricted numbers.
