Linen 💙

It’s a love hate relationship with linen as you all well know, gorgeous, lightweight and breathable but creases like you don’t know what! 🤣

Our client wanted a lightweight linen suit, but wanted to keep it very smart and classic.
We opted for a buggy lined jacket (which means the lining only covers the upper back, shoulders and front facings) which makes the jacket extra light and breathable.
The trousers we kept very simple and lined to the knee for added comfort.

Autumn has officially landed here at Brookes and we are loving it! So many gorgeous new pieces and outfits.
This week has been filled with chaos from boxes all over and trying to meet deadlines, but we are getting there. There is still a lot more to do but here is a few pictures to see if you can’t get in over the weekend! 🤍

We have been very grateful that we have been kept super busy in the work room this year, with that being said I am very behind with showing you all the commissions over the past few months.

This gorgeous ladies 2 piece was made for a client of ours back at the start of the year.
She wanted a simple but elegant jacket and then decided she would also love a waistcoat to match! We added princess seams to create a feminine look but kept it very simple and clean with plain jetted pockets.

I didn’t think I’d been bringing you a window post tonight as everything went a little pear shaped today but I managed to pull through and get them changed for the week ahead.
