Almost Unwearoutable has been trading for over 80 years, first from a shop in Corbridge, then by mail order and now online. We sell mainly bespoke made to measure socks, including shooting stockings, kilt hose, welly socks, beagling stockings, boot socks, ski socks, and short socks for every day wear but we also make jumpers, hats, scarves, mittens and gloves, in all sizes from newborn up to # # .
We make traditional hunting gloves, and knitted waistcoats designed to fit under a hunting coat - in fact almost anything you can knit! We have a huge selection of colours and patterns and can match your tweed, tartan, regimental or racing colours - we can even personalise your socks with writing round the top! They are all hand made in Northumberland, and really are almost unwearoutable!! We test every new wool rigorously for comfort, washability and wear before we start selling it so you can be assured that they will last.
