October is wool month and here at BIBICO we will not be where we are without this amazing natural resource

Wool is an amazing fibre. It is sustainable in its production, renewable and biodegradable once it reaches the end of its lifespan. As a completely natural fibre, wool can be used to create exquisite garments which allow our skin to breath, can be repaired when they show signs of wear and if cared for well, will last for many years. We also source all our wool from suppliers who do not permit ‘mulesing’, a cruel and painful practice utilised to prevent disease in sheep.

After joining the ladies’ cooperative, Arushi began earning a reliable income and was able to fulfil her dream of educating her children.

Through the cooperative’s education sponsorship programme, she was also able to help fund her son’s higher education. He knows that without his mother’s determination and hard work, these opportunities would not have been possible.
