Beautiful girls, beautiful colours!

Introducing lovely new colours for the SAB-style skirt.

I wanted a gym vibe for this shoot rather than classic ballet studio and the dancers totally delivered!! We worked with fashion photographer Tasha Hylton Photographer to elevate the aesthetic and I’m so pleased.

Custom made romantic ballet skirts - you choose colour, layers, length, size and any particular details you’d like.

Both these skirts are for competitions, different variations. Both are three layers: two tulle and one chiffon. The tulle is a medium weight so there’s a bit of pouffy-ness but it’s not too stiff. They are reversible too so you can have tulle or chiffon as your outer layer.

I love making these and hope they bring luck to the dancers 🩰

And …. You can always pass your Freda Silk custom skirt on to another dancer - they’re handmade to last and be loved and cherished.

Ballet Landscapes

Featuring pieces from the Freda Silk skirt collection, available for hire.

I’m in awe of how dance can shape the space around it, how a dancer will instinctively know what to do and how to place themselves. And if I can contribute to the process with some fabric, colour and texture to add even more depth and drama to the shapes, then I’m very happy.

Locker Room Series

It was an absolute pleasure to work with these three dancers recently. They brought energy, smiles, elegance and ideas to my recent shoot and I’m so happy with what we captured.

A few new Autumn/Winter colours will be revealed in the next week, styled by these gorgeous dancers.

Location the brilliant CaliUnity Gym Bath in Bath, who, as you can see, have very lovely changing rooms!!
