Just had to share this little gem! 💛 The Helen & Douglas House shop in Marlborough is one of the best-presented charity shops I’ve ever visited – beautifully styled, full of gorgeous finds, and with such a warm welcome.
Every purchase helps this incredible children’s hospice provide care for terminally ill children and support for their families, making a real difference when it matters most.

🎭 One of my other roles—besides running CurioBelle—is as “Opera Lady”, sourcing props and set pieces for two fabulous local amateur opera companies. This week’s charity shop treasure?
A vintage steamer trunk, complete with initials and travel wear, found tucked away in a local charity shop.

It’ll feature in Cardiff Cotswold Opera’s summer tour of La Bohème, opening this Saturday (21 June) at The Mission Theatre, Bath.
Set in post-WWI Paris (1919), this trunk is the perfect bohemian touch — full of character and history. What a find!
