A little life update... 🩷

If you’ve noticed I’ve been a bit quiet on social media lately, I wanted to let you know why.

Behind lamMe Store is just me. Alongside running my small handmade business, I’m also a mum to two busy primary school boys, working part-time Monday to Friday, studying for my Level 3 Autism course, and right now we’re preparing for a big family adventure... moving to Ireland in less than two months! 🇮🇪

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of packing, sorting, selling furniture, organising paperwork, and trying to keep up with everyday life in between. Some days it feels like there simply aren’t enough hours in the day!

While social media has had to take a bit of a back seat, I haven’t stopped creating. Orders are still being made, fabrics are still being cut, and new ideas are still filling my head (usually at 11pm when I should be sleeping 😅 ).

I just wanted to say thank you for sticking around, supporting my little business, and understanding that sometimes life gets a little messy behind the scenes.

I’d love to know- what’s keeping you busy at the oment? Tell me in the comments so I don’t feel like I’m the only one juggling a million things! 💞

📦 BIG NEWS FROM IAMME STORE 📦

If you’ve spotted the boxes, you may have guessed... I’m moving! !! 🇮🇪

In the second half of July, lamMe Store will be relocating from the UK to Ireland. While this is an exciting new chapter for me and my small handmade business, it will bring some changes for my UK customers.

If you’ve had your eye on one of my handmade turbans, headbands, hats, or other accessories, NOW is the perfect time to shop before the move.

The website will remain open after I relocate, and I’ll continue making and shipping all of your favourite handmade items. However, orders sent from Ireland to the UK may be subject to customs charges, VAT, or handling fees when they arrive, depending on current regulations.

For those who would like to avoid any potential import charges, I recommend placing your orders before the move in July.

Guess what I’m working on? 🎀💝

When the times are slower in terms of business, I spend my time on figuring out how to cut fabric waste, and how to use up all my fabric in order not to waste anything.
So instead of throwing out these strips, I have pre sewn a bunch of tubes to make fabric flower rosettes, and then I will turn them into brooches to gift to my customers.
That’s what I’m doing this Bank Holiday weekend 🧵 🪡 ✂️
