A little funk education this morning. Joe's spin-off group The Fearless Flyers is headlining the Newport Jazz Festival this year. Take a look and listen and you will see why. It's technically a "Supergroup" featuring Mark Lettieri of Snarky Puppy, Cory Wong (solo artist and Vulfpeck collaborator, Joe and Nate Smith who is probably one of the greatest drummers currently on the scene. This will be my first time at Newport and how cool is it for me to see Joe and the band play.
